On my business card there are some basic supplies mentioned to be able to draw in the water. Obviously of course is natural water. Yeah duh, you may have said when you read that (or is Duh no longer a fashion word?).
But not every water is suitable. Especially in the beginning, when you still have to get used to snorkeling, it is good to make it as easy as possible. Below a photo series of a location in the Netherlands (Zandeiland 4 Vinkeveen). This is a location that is protected for divers and snorkelers. So pretty safe. There are easy entrances to the water, picnick tables and benches, a changing room, shower, toilets, a diving store. And sometimes even a food truck.
